Rick DeBacker, Trinity New York's founder, started up in Binghamton, NY, as an agent for R L Jeffries, gaining valuable experience with OD Permits, Driver settlements and tariff auditing. Jeff Banning becomes the President & CEO of Trinity Logistics. Rick DeBacker becomes the 241st certified transportation broker with the TIA. Trinity New York becomes an independent agent for Trinity Logistics. Within the year, Rick is inducted into the "Million Dollar Club". Trinity New York becomes a Father & Son operation, as Ray DeBacker joins the TNY team. Trinity Logistics joined the EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership in our commitment to sustainability. Trinity Logistics joined the Responsible Care Partnership, and celebrates its 30th year in business. For 27 years, fair and ethical practice has been the heart of Trinity New York. In recognition of this, Rick has been awarded three Double Helix Awards, as well as a Banning Award.
